PreferredOne Joins UnitedHealthcare
UnitedHealthcare and PreferredOne have completed an agreement to integrate their businesses, bringing together a strong, local, well-established health plan with UnitedHealthcare’s benefit, wellness and administrative strengths. This combination of businesses, teams and resources will lead to higher quality health care solutions for current and future PreferredOne members and customers.
PreferredOne will continue to operate and serve members and customers as it currently does today, but it will do so as part of the UnitedHealthcare of MN team.
What This Means for Current PreferredOne Members
There are no immediate changes for members. PreferredOne members will continue to receive the same high level of service, and members will be able to use current phone numbers, e-mails, and websites.
There are no changes to coverage for current members. Your network will remain the same and will not change and there are no rate changes as a result of this transition. Current PreferredOne members can continue to use their same ID card.
