Mandatory Paid Sick Leave in Minnesota

July 2016
A number of states, cities, and county governments across the U.S. have begun to pass legislation mandating private employers pay a minimum number of sick days. Minneapolis is the first city to pass this law in Minnesota, and St. Paul plans to follow suit yet this summer. There is also a bill pending in the state legislature. The impact on metro employers is significant, not only in terms of cost but also administratively.
During this webinar, you will learn:
- What is in store from the State of Minnesota and several municipalities;
- When the new regulations will go into effect;
- Who is impacted by the mandatory paid leave, even if not located within the cities passing the law; and
- What benefits have to be paid if you don't already provide at least the minimum requirement.
