North Risk Partners Acquires Trucking Agency in Maple Plain

St. Paul, Minn. – North Risk Partners (NRP) has acquired Commercial Insurance Group, Inc. (CIG), a trucking insurance agency based in Maple Plain, Minn. The deal, which was finalized Oct. 1, grows NRP’s trucking revenue by over 30 percent.

Effective immediately, CIG will adopt the name and brand of C.O. Brown, a division of North Risk Partners, and all service requests will be directed to the division’s Rochester-based transportation department. CIG owner Dave Breitner and his brother Bob Breitner have become employees of C.O. Brown.
