Effective Nov. 1, McAlpin Insurance Agency of Columbia Heights, Minn. joined North Risk Partners, one of the largest independent insurance broker and risk advisory firms in the Midwest.
McAlpin’s seven-person team joins the firm as its 28th location across five states: Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
“Just like North Risk, as a family-owned independent insurance agency, we place a high importance on strong values and a commitment to serving our clients and community,” says Steve McAlpin, second-generational owner of McAlpin Agency. “This partnership is not only exciting because of the expanded risk management solutions we are able to offer our clients, but also because of the dedicated and service-oriented team we are joining.”
McAlpin clients now have access to North Risk’s wide array of capabilities and carriers in the areas of commercial insurance, employee benefits, and personal insurance. Business clients will also be able to tap into the firm’s expansive and important value-added services in the areas of human resources, health and safety, and more.
“This acquisition builds an even stronger North Risk Partners presence in the Twin Cities area, with locations in Mendota Heights, Plymouth, and now Columbia Heights,” says Stan Hamann, Twin Cities division president. “We are thrilled to welcome the entire McAlpin team aboard and look forward to continuing to grow together.”
The McAlpin office continues to be located at 3990 Central Ave. NE in Columbia Heights.
