Base Salary: $75,000 – $100,000

  • This position is eligible for performance-based bonus opportunities

What We Do

Our advisors customize risk management plans to fit a client’s specific needs and goals. Plans include targeted business and/or personal insurance solutions, plus cost-saving support for businesses in the areas of loss control, wellness, human resources and health care reform.

Job Description:

The regional general manager reports directly to the chief operating officer and is responsible for the overall success of the region, including but not limited to revenue growth, profitability (as measured by EBITDA), talent management, recruitment and development, and agency acquisition sourcing and integration.

Specific Duties:

Revenue Growth

  • Review P&L goals and results with satellite managers monthly
  • Monitor productivity through pipeline manager and review sales results with producers on a quarterly basis
  • Review and approve producer sales plans annually

Profitability

  • Review P&L goals and results with satellite managers monthly, focusing on EBITDA
  • Review accounts receivable list with producers and service team members
  • Review key expenses with satellite managers

People

  • Oversee quarterly all-region meeting
  • Bi-annual one-on-one meeting with all staff. Document and address opportunities as necessary
  • Final approval of all performance reviews
  • Discuss staffing needs and staffing performance monthly with satellite managers
  • Final interview and approval of all new hires within region
  • Build relationships with all staff and ensure region morale is high
  • Communicate all company directives, policies, and expectations as needed
  • Final review of staff compensation in conjunction with executive team
  • Recruit talent at both the producer and servicing level of the company

Acquisitions

  • Source acquisitions in your region based on annual guidelines from CEO
  • Update CEO monthly on acquisition targets
  • Direct timely and accurate integration of newly acquired agencies, ensuring the organizations are welcomed and embraced within the company culture

Executive Team

  • Attend executive management team meetings as scheduled
  • Prepare and present regional issues at meetings
  • Actively participate in making strategic decisions affecting the overall organization
  • Place the NRP team ahead of the regional team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Physical Requirements: Must be able to drive to and from company locations.
