Digital Marketing Manager
The Digital Marketing Manager is an exciting new position within our firm’s current six-person marketing and communications team. The individual who is hired for this role will have the opportunity to build this area of the department. The Digital Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for creating and driving strategy and process related to building North Risk’s digital brand presence. North Risk Partners is a fast-growing firm dedicated to serving the insurance and risk management needs of businesses and individuals. Our team consists of over 400 employees working in over 30 locations across five states, including Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska. Digital Marketing Manager Responsibilities: PRIMARY: Website
Social Media: Lead execution of all content updates made to North Risk’s external digital channels (i.e., website, social media, online directories, etc.), including but not limited to brand-related updates, posts such as news releases, events, blogs, as well as imagery and development of landing pages.
Content Management: Leverage existing internal and external resources to plan and execute content calendar for website and social media channels, ensuring a blend of content that effectively represents the North Risk Partners brand.
Content Creation PR: Assist with a variety of writing projects, including press releases, social media posts, verticals-specific sales collateral, related strategic internal communications, and more.
Content Digital Strategy: Explore and recommend key opportunities for external content and distribution strategy, including videos, leadership blogs, targeted social ads, industry-specific content, influencer marketing and more to drive traffic and engagement, as well as a competitive digital strategy for the firm.
Digital Conversions: Play a critical role in results for the firm’s personal insurance and small business select new business platform, helping to drive traffic to the website and platform, and ensure a strategic, positive frontend user experience.
Analytics:As directed by leadership, measure and present on engagement related the firm’s key external digital channels, including but not limited to northriskpartners.com, social media, and search engines.
Vendor Management: Work with key third-party marketing resources as needed to execute strategy, using project management and budgeting skills to keep projects on track.
SECONDARY: Customer Experience: Assist in rolling out firm’s CRM system and related processes to support scale-able growth through proactive, targeted marketing and develop trackable user/client experiences.
Cross-Functional: Collaborate with North Risk’s client communications leader to leverage client events and communications for marketing externally.
Events: Execute special marketing events as needed, in person or online, as well as special external email marketing campaigns as needed.
Internal Subject Matter Expert: Support North Risk Partners team members in leveraging social media as a selling and networking tool with a specific focus on branding.
Digital Marketing Manager Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or relevant professional experience required A minimum of 5 years of previous related experience required Previous experience with website and social media content creation and posting required Previous experience with email marketing required Previous experience with a CRM tool such as SalesForce or Microsoft Dynamics preferredPrevious experience with Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress preferred Previous experience with digital ad campaigns and lead generation preferredA self-starter who regularly demonstrates initiative and great critical thinking skills Effective oral and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational skillsA working knowledge of standard technology, including core Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPointA team player who collaborates between departments and works well with his/her coworkersAble to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast paced environmentA role model for North Risk Partners’ core values, mission and desired culture
