POSITION SUMMARY: North Risk Partners is expanding their internal Human Resources team and are excited to recruit for a Benefits Administrator. This position will be part of the benefit plan design and will handle implementation and ongoing execution of benefits program, including but not limited to, health, dental, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability. The role of Benefits Administrator will be the point of contact for employees with benefit questions, concerns, coverage questions and change of life event needs. This role will also be responsible for managing leaves of absence and all aspects of benefit compliance. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the management of health and welfare benefit plans, programs, and policies to ensure accurate and effective administrationServes as main point of contact for change of life events, leaves of absence, and any benefit questions for employees Works with vendor partners to implement benefit programs and research and resolve employee issues and/or data correctionsServes as primary contact for plan vendors, third-party administrators, and employees. Coordinates the transfer of data to external contacts for services and plan administration as neededInvestigates discrepancies and provides information in non-routine situationsEvaluates and revises internal processes to increase efficiency Documents and maintains administrative procedures for assigning benefit processes Assists in ensuring compliance with applicable government regulations including assisting in ensuring timeliness and accuracy of required filings Oversees maintenance of employee benefit files and updating of employee payroll records Provides the technical support to test systems functionality and works with end users to provide system support and troubleshoot system problems. Participates in the development, design, and distribution of benefit materials for new hires, open enrollment, and ongoing change of life events.
